Venlor XR is a medicine prescribed to treat various kinds of depressive and anxiety disorders like panic attacks, bipolar depression, suicidal ideations, social anxiety disorder, and sleep disorders. Venlor XR contains Venlafaxine as the active drug. It is an antidepressant belonging to the group of SNRIs (serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor). Venlor XR actively inhibits reuptake of neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine. It is also a weak reuptake inhibitor of dopamine. By this activity it restores the balance of these chemicals that are responsible for mood balance and happiness.

Venlor XR can be taken by mouth as it is insisted for oral administration. It can be consumed after having food and it should be taken at the same time each day so as to make the pill work efficiently. Venlor XR can be taken either in the early morning or in the late evening. The Venlor XR needs to be swallowed as a whole with some fluid. The capsule should not be crushed, broken or dissolved in water at any circumstance. Sudden discontinuation may result in withdrawal symptoms such as numbness, nausea, vomiting, headache, tingling, nightmares.
